Charger Brand Teff Grass is a fast-growing crop that not only produces quality forage but also high yields during the summer growing season. When weather conditions are optimal, harvest schedules should occur every 40-45 days. Charger Brand Teff Grass has a nutritive value comparable to timothy making it an excellent forage for horses and other livestock. It is fine stemmed, leafy, and very palatable. Protein content generally ranges from 12-17% depending on growth stage.
Note: if using for pasture, wait until after the first cutting to ensure root system is established.
